Fady Hannah-Shmouni, MD

Dr. Hannah-Shmouni trained at the Yale School of Medicine and holds faculty appointment at the University of British Columbia. He is board certified in both internal medicine and endocrinology (ABIM, FRCPC), and his clinical and research career has centred on one field: hormone, peptide, metabolic and regenerative medicine — the same field his medicolegal work covers.

He has served as an expert witness across Canada, the United States, and internationally, in matters spanning medical malpractice, personal injury, and regulatory enforcement. He is retained by plaintiff and defence counsel in roughly equal measure — a balance he regards as the best evidence of an opinion that follows the record rather than the retainer.
